Madrid Spring Festival 2026

Madrid Spring Festival is a celebration that combines the Lunar New Year, also known as the Spring Festival or Chinese New Year, with the arrival of spring in the West. This event brings together the best of both cultures, sharing the essence of Madrid with China and vice versa, aiming to promote cultural exchange and celebrate diversity in a festive and joyful atmosphere.

Main festival activities include cultural events, art exhibitions, concerts, performances, and the Spring Run.

The Madrid Spring Festival will kick off in Shanghai on 1 January 2026. It will then move to Madrid from 27 February to 1 March 2026, before returning to Shanghai on 28 March of the same year.
